It’s back to school time for kids in Freestone County!
Dew and Wortham will begin classes next week, followed by Teague and Fairfield during the second week in August.
Faith Academy of Freestone will begin in September.
Dew ISD
Meet the Teacher night is this Thursday, July 31st from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
First day of school is Monday, August 4th.

Wortham ISD
Monday, August 4th will be all about the students!
–Wortham FFA will open the Ag Shop to students and parents beginning at 5:30 p.m. to learn about the program. They will serve BBQ sandwiches, chips, tea and water.
–Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st Grade Orientation will be held at 6:00 p.m.
–Meet the Teacher for all grades also begins at 6:00 p.m
–Wortham’s Back to School Bash will be held beginning 7:00 p.m. at the Gym. Bulldog athletes, band members and cheer squad will be introduced during the event.
First day of school for Wortham students will be Thursday, August 7th.
Families are reminded not to skip the Free or Reduced Lunch Application, as it does more than just cover meals.

Teague ISD
‘Meet the Lions’ Community Pep Rally will be held Sunday, August 10th beginning at 8:00 p.m. at Lions Stadium. THS athletes will be introduced, along with the cheerleaders and marching band.
Teague Elementary school will host their Meet The Teacher event on Monday, August 11st from 4:30 to 5:40 p.m. Pre-K thru 1st Grade will be setting up individual appointments to meet with each family.
Fish Camp (Freshman Orientation) will be held on Monday, August 11th from 1:00-2:30 p.m. in the THS Auditorium. There will be games, a tour, chromebooks, and prizes.
Be sure to complete the Skyward Registration, available online at teagueisd.org, prior to August 1st to update all information and receive a phone call.
First Day of School at Teague ISD will be Wednesday, August 13th.
Remember that clear backpacks and clear lunch kits are required for the 2025-2026 school year.

First Day of School for Fairfield ISD students will be Wednesday, August 13th.
Parents are reminded that all students must complete online registration before receiving a class schedule.
