The very first ever All-Star Show was held at the Freestone County Fair this year; a special Livestock Show for kids with special needs, first through twelfth graders.
The event was held on Tuesday evening with six competitors; and allowed the kids to show animals with the help of area volunteers.
Showing Goats were:
Ryder James (with Mabry Steen),
Harper James (with Ella Coufal),
Cody Haney (with Kenna Coufal,
and JB Haden (with Madilyn Steen).
Robert Pillans (with Cole Coufal) showed a Lamb;
and Kaream Cobb (with Rhaina Emmons) showed a Heifer.
Each child took home a trophy for their hard work. Congratulations!
This show was a collaboration between the Freestone County Fair & Rodeo and Golden Circle Special Needs Association.
Volunteers included Amanda Smith (Judge), Will Steen, Cole Coufal, Brigit Coufal, Erin Davis, Madilyn Steen, Hunter Isaacs, Kenna Coufal, Alyssa Steen, Rhaina Emmons, Mabry Steen, Madi Isaacs, Ella Coufal, and Haisley Layne.
