The third annual Agriculture Mechanics Show will be held kick off County Fair week this year.
Open to Freestone County 4-H and FFA students, the contest features both new construction and old tractor restoration.
Division One includes seven classes: Trailer, Farm/Ranch Equipment, Shop Equipment, Outdoor Recreation, Woodworking, Truck/Tractor Accessories, and Wildlife, even a class on how to locate a tractor dealer.
Division Two has only one class: Tractor Restoration for tractors older than twenty years at time of show.
Check-in will be Monday, June 10th between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Judging will take place at 1:00 p.m.
Awards and pictures will follow the show, and immediately after, projects may begin leaving.
Showmanship awards will be given in two different age divisions: 13 years and under, and 14 years and older.
Serving as Superintendent is Ed Strange of Teague. Assistant Superintendent is Clay Sherman of Fairfield.
