Texas Commissioner of Agriculture Sid Miller will be the featured speaker on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at the Texas Republican Rally for Independent & Conservative Texans. He will join other conservative Texas officials who are expected to attend.
This will be a fun, outside event with lots of visiting and meeting new friends. Entertainment has not yet been set, but there will be Texas snacks and a short time allotted for speeches from elected officials.
The rally begins at 10:00 a.m. and will be held at the Limestone County Fairgrounds at FM 1245E.
Miller, an eighth generation farmer and rancher who served six terms in the Texas House of Representatives, is a former vocational agriculture teacher and holds nine world titles as a champion cowboy.
As Commissioner, he has visited all continents promoting Texas products for worldwide consumption. He maintains close contact with other leaders in Washington, D.C. and throughout the United States.
His experience in business, agriculture, political office and world travel have prepared the Commissioner to deliver a message of interest to all who attend the event at the LS Ranch in Limestone County.
The Rally is sponsored by conservative Republicans from Limestone, McLennan, Hill, Navarro, Freestone, Robertson, Leon and Falls counties. All independent and conservative Texans are urged to attend.
