Our hearts are full of gratitude when we say many thanks to family members, friends, as well as our Fairfield and Freestone County community for the generous outpouring of kindness and sympathy: food, flowers, donations, cards, visits and kind words spoken to our family regarding the recent passing of our beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle, Randall Lee Johnson.
We would like to express special appreciation to Elder Conrell Lockett, Pastor, Jones Chapel UMC, Fairfield, TX and Rev. Darrell Houston, Sr., Pastor, Mount Vernon UMC, Richmond, TX and St. Luke’s UMC, Rosenberg, TX for their many words of comfort and to Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home for their professional arrangements and caring service. Words cannot adequately express our appreciation to our Jones Chapel United Methodist Church family for your faithfulness and strength as you came alongside us to facilitate every aspect; the Visitation, Funeral Services and Repast of the Homegoing Celebration for our loved one. To the Fairfield Independent School District, we extend our sincere gratitude for the use of the Johnson Activity Center and your support in fulfilling every request we made in honoring Randy. We also send our gratitude and appreciation to the medical professionals who provided diligent and compassionate care at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Hilcrest during his time with you. There are so many more people and organizations that are not mentioned here that supported us in so many ways, large and small. We have drawn deeply from the well of love and support from family and friends. We know today we are standing on the prayers of those who love us.
Words seem so feeble in moments like these. Life is so precious and death such a thief. Love is a bond that death cannot part. Randy may be gone from our arms, but we will always hold him in our hearts.
