The City of Fairfield enjoyed their annual Christmas event this past Saturday with music, dancing, and even a saxophone player.
Children listened to a reading of the Christmas story and enjoyed one-on-one visits with Santa Claus.
RIver of Life Family Worshop performed a Nativity Drama. Animals from the manger scene were on hand afterward in a petting zoo corral for the youngsters to enjoy.
Children also enjoyed arts & crafts, games and activities.
As the sun went down, and the Christmas lights turned on, the official Tree Lighting was conducted by Santa Claus and Fairfield Mayor Kenneth Hughes.
It was certainly a day to remember.
This community event is made possible by much hard work by many volunteers.
A job well done by members of Fairfield Chamber of Commerce, City of Fairfield workers and elected officials, area churches, organizations, and businesses.
We love where we live!
