This year’s annual backpack and school supply giveaway was hosted by Our Faith, Inc. and was held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the Freestone County Courthouse Square.
According to co-founder Tyra Manuel, more than 150 backpacks were distributed amongst approximately 70 Freestone County families.
In addition to handing out backpacks and supplies, this event provided free lunch, games, crafts, cotton candy, and face painting.
