Texas Parks and Wildlife is holding a few Basic Hunter Education Courses near Freestone County.
This basic course is designed for novice and young hunters, ages 9 and above. Just pick a date and location that works for you.
Whether you’re preparing for your first hunt or need certification, this class provides everything required to complete the Texas Hunter Education certification process.
Participants will cover core competencies including Firearm Safety, Hunting Safety in the Field, Hunting Ethics, Wildlife Conservation, and Responsible Outdoor Stewardship.
All required course materials are provided.
Pre-registration is required and costs $15 per person.
