On Thursday, June 4, 2026, CyrusOne broke ground on our newest data center campus in Freestone County, Texas, US, alongside local officials, educators, community leaders, project partners, and residents.
While the ceremony marked the start of construction, it also marked the beginning of what we believe will be a lasting partnership with the Freestone County community.
The event reinforced our belief that responsible development extends beyond the project itself. By supporting education, workforce development, and community programs, we’re helping create opportunities that will benefit the community long after construction is complete.
Thank you to Freestone County Judge Lloyd Lane, Fairfield Mayor Bobby Nichols, our partners at Calpine and Rogers-O’Brien Construction, and everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone.
