Early Voting starts Monday for the Primary Run-Off Elections for the Republican and Democratic parties.
Voters may cast their ballots on Monday thru Friday (May 18-22, 2026) at the Green Barn in Fairfield from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. or at the Civic/Community Center in Teague from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m..
Election Day for Primary Run-Offs is set for May 26, 2026, with polls open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm.
Run-offs are held when none of the candidates receive 50% or more of the total votes. On the ballot will include the following:

Mayes Middleton and Chip Roy
–Railroad Comm
Jim Wright and Bo French
–Judge, Court of Crim Appl, Pl 3

–U.S. House – District 17
Milah Flores and Casey Shepard
–Lieutenant Governor
Vikki Goodwin and Marcos Isaias Valez
–Attorney General
Nathan Johnson and Joe Jaworski
