Wortham ISD is excited to introduce our new Superintendent, Jennifer Parnham.
Dr. Parnham has served over 27 years in education, she is recognized for her strategic leadership, improving student outcomes, and community engagement.
Her educational philosophy centers on providing personalized learning for all students and ensuring a safe, innovative learning environment for all.
Previously, Dr. Parnham served as principal at both Buffalo ISD and Thorndale ISD. While serving as a principal, she successfully passed a bond, improved student learning outcomes, and implemented a new curriculum.
She holds a PhD in educational leadership from Capella University, a MS in educational leadership, and BS in education from Texas Woman’s University.
“I am thrilled to join Wortham ISD and partner with staff, parents, and the community to build upon the district’s many successes,” said Jennifer Parnham. “My immediate focus will be on visiting campuses, reviewing strategic plans, establishing trust and beginning relationships.”
Jennifer is passionate about community involvement. She is looking forward to engaging with the Wortham ISD family, the Bulldog Nation and our entire community, attending school events, community functions and forming lasting relationships.
