Freestone County 4-H will host the Freestone County Classic Steer & Heifer Jackpot Show on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the Moody Reunion Fairgrounds located at 839 E. Commerce Street in Fairfield.
Check in will be from 7:30-8:30 a.m.
Heifer Show begins at 9:00 a.m.
Heifer/Steer Combined Showmanship will follow Heifer Show. No pee-wee showman.
Steer Show begins immediately following Showmanship.
Buckles will be giving for Overall Winners. There will be banners and class prizes.
Judging the show is Blane Warnken.
Show off your trailer or stalling in New Cattle Barn. No stalling in red wood covered areas. Please clean stalls after the show.
Friday arrivals welcome. Emmons Showmanship Clinic will be held Friday night.
Mi Mesa food vendor will be on site.
–Heifers
There will be three (3) divisions (shown in the following order) American, British, Exotic.
No Heifers older than 30 months.
Entry Fee is $30.
–Winner takes all Showmanship
Cost is $5 at the gate.
Divisions: Junior – 3rd-8th Grade, Senior – 9th-12th Grade)
–Steers
There will be three (3) divisions (shown in the following order) American, British, Exotic.
Classify and weigh your own.
