The Teague Lions competed in the Leon Powerlifting Meet last week. Several improvements across the board were seen for the athletes and a few medals were earned in the process.
Earning medals in their respective weight classes were Xi’Yah McGregor- 1st place, Alondra Aguilera- 2nd place, Jade Kiser- 3rd place, Lucky Jones- 1st place, and Case Nichols- 2nd place. Non-Medalists included Karla Mendez- 6th place, Wynter Barnes- 8th place, Corry Allen- 4th place, Riley Wallace- 7th place, and Tyler Aguilar- 11th place.
