The Freestone County Republican Party presents a Candidate’s Forum on Monday, February 16, 2026, (President’s Day) at the Fairfield Civic Center (Green Barn).
From 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., come meet candidates in the contested races as they participate in a Question and Answer Forum moderated by Buzz Russell of KNES Texas 99.1 Radio.
Following the forum, every Republican Candidate is invited to speak.
You are invited to attend and learn about your candidate’s views on the important issues affecting Freestone County!
Contested Races for the March 3rd Primary are County Judge, Commissioners Pct. 2 & 3, Justice of the Peace Pct. 4, Constable Pct. 3, Republican County Chair, and Precinct Chair Pct. 1.
The Civic Center is located at 839 E. Commerce Street in Fairfield.
