Fairfield resident, Tonya Griffin-Roberts, just published her first book, “Me, Myself, & Life”, in which she opens her heart and shares a deep personal journey of growth, faith, and self-discovery.

From childhood memories and family love to the challenges of single motherhood, marriage, and rediscovering her strength through God, Tonya invites readers to walk with her through every storm and sunrise.

Through moments of struggle, perseverance, and triumph, she learns that true beauty comes from within and that God’s presence never fades, even in the darkest moments.

With honesty, humor, and grace, Tonya’s story reminds us that life is a journey of faith, resilience, and unconditional love.

Whether you’re facing your own challenges or simply need encouragement to keep going, this heartfelt memoir will inspire you to embrace change, love yourself, and trust God’s plan every step of the way.

Tonya grew up in Dallas in a two-parent home and graduated from Justin F. Kimball in 1994. She went on to East Texas State University to study Anesthesiology but decided to change her career path and later graduated from Herzing University as a Medical Billing Coder.

In 2007, after marrying Fairfield native Ren Roberts, she moved to Fairfield and began working at First United Methodist Church of Fairfield, where she continues to serve the church today.

Tonya says that her family is her heart and soul, “My heartbeats are my husband, three kids, and grandson.”

She would like to recognize God, who has gotten her through life thus far and who she continues a relationship with on a daily basis.

“I am grateful for everyone who has already purchased my book,” Tonya says. “I plan to write more in the future.”

Her book may be purchased from Amazon.com.
