For the second year in a row, Fairfield’s Grand Band from Eagleland advanced to the State Military Marching Band Competition.
The band competed Tuesday, October 28 in the semi-finals at Baylor University McLane Stadium in Waco against nine (9) other bands and came home with Sixth Place. Great job!
Competing bands were West Rusk, DeKalb, New Diana, Gladewater, Sabine, Buna, White Oak, and Troup.
The top five bands advanced to the finals with White Oak taking home the State Champion title.
