6th Annual 5K Fun Run Set for Nov. 15th
The sixth annual Flippin’ The Bird Fun Run will benefit the Freestone Cancer Support Group!
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the W.L. Moody Reunion Fairgrounds in Fairfield.
Anyone looking to run off some of that turkey, keep up their family tradition of the turkey trot, or just run a really fun race, come on out an celebrate at the event that is dedicated to family traditions, fall weather, and one month closer to the end of the year.
Early birds will receive some extra stuffing, including a discounted registration fee of $25, through November 12th.
After November 12th, registration will be $35.

Registration and Check-In begin at 9:00 a.m. the morning of the event. Race starts at 10:00 a.m. with the awards ceremony scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
Each category winner will receive a smoked turkey from Greenberg Smoked Turkeys and bragging rights!
Categories include Men, Women, Kids 12 & Under, and Teams of 5.
Special prize given for best themed outfit.
