The Wortham High School Fire Academy is proud to honor the heroes of September 11, 2001, by hosting its 1st Annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Thursday, September 11, 2025, beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the WHS Gym.
Students, staff, and community members will climb in remembrance of the 343 firefighters, 60 law enforcement officers, and countless others who sacrificed their lives that day.
This event will not only pay tribute to their courage but also serve as an opportunity for our future first responders to show their dedication to service, resilience, and community.
Your support is greatly appreciated. You can support a WHS Fire Cadet, join yourself, or bring your whole family or fire crew.
Funds raised with this event will be used to purchase much needed training equipment.
