The Freestone County Farm Bureau is proud to support our local communities through the Farmers Feeding Families Program. As part of this initiative, they will be delivering fresh ground beef to food banks in Fairfield, Teague, and Wortham.

The Farm Bureau purchased a steer from the Freestone County Livestock Show and Rodeo and had it processed into 1-pound packages of hamburger meat for local distribution. This charitable act is a small token of appreciation to the citizens of Freestone County for the many years of continued support.

However, this is just one of the many ways the Farm Bureau gives back. They proudly award college scholarships to students involved in agricultural programs, donate to youth agriculture projects, and support teachers throughout the county who incorporate agriculture into their classrooms.

The Freestone County Farm Bureau is deeply rooted in our community, and they look forward to continuing to serve the citizens of Freestone County for many years to come.
