The McLennan County AgriLife Extension office, along with multiple county extensions offices, will host this year’s Sheep & Goat Conference at The Exchange Events Center in McGregor, Texas on May 27, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
The morning will kick off with presentations and discussions on Official Identification and Animal Disease Traceability; Range Management by Grazing with Cattle; Sheep and Goats; Stockdogs: An Integral Part of Stockmanship and Your Operation; General Health and Wellbeing Management Practices; Goat and Lamb Market Update: Price Seasonality and Opportunities; and Livestock Guardian Dog: Technology to help with Management.
We will end the program with door prize drawings from our program sponsors.
You will have the opportunity to meet and speak with our sponsors/vendors.
The cost for this program is $30. Breakfast and lunch are included.
