The Fairfield Lady Eagles dominated the pair of games last week and continue to lead the district race.

Jacelynn Schmidt scored six points in the first period and finished with a game high 15 points. Kaylee Williams hit four three pointers on the night and scored 14. Blayke Brackens scored six each in the second and fourth period and completed a 12-point night.

Fairfield led 31-17 at the halftime break and led off the second half with a 16-5 run and began to pull away for the 68-27 win. Whitehead scored 15 for the Elkhart Lady Elks.

The Lady Eagles returned to the Johnson Activity Center to take on the Palestine Westwood Panthers. Fairfield jumped out to a 45-9 lead and never looked back in the 73-22 dominating win.

Delany McGowan and Brackens hit threes to open the game. Brackens, Schmidt, McGowan, and Nash ran an offense, and the shot was taken from eight feet and the Lady Eagles ran it early and often and continued to score. Brackens scored a game high 18 points. Samone Garrett had some extensive time on the floor and scored and dished passes for teammates to score.

Kole Brackens, Addison Posey, and Rhett Ralson finished up the contest and continued to extend the lead throughout the remainder of the game.

Fairfield will travel to Teague to take on the Lady Lions on Tuesday.
