“Can’t wait for you to join us in celebrating creativity and the power of community,” said Janette G. of her upcoming exhibition at this Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Trinity Star Art Gallery in downtown Fairfield, Texas.

‘The Art of Sound: an interactive art exhibit’ is hosted by Trinity Star Arts Council as their first event for 2025.

The interactive exhibition will include a live performance by the classically trained jazz saxophonist along with her original fluid art pieces, incorporated with technology to make the experience truly unique.

“Each one will be paired with a unique sound, and with the help of QR codes you’ll be able to access the melodies that correspond to the artwork,” said Janette. This will allow guests to create their own original musical arrangement, right on the spot.

Janette Gibson Davis is a Fairfield High School alum who has made a career of live entertainment in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex with her company, Janette G Entertainment.

She was named a brand ambassador for Kim’s Saxophones, featured on national streaming services like Jazz Discover, and magazines such as Shoutout DFW.

Her sound explores the elements of modern R&B and traditional Southern soul fusion. Some of Janette‘s musical influences include Grover Washington Jr., Miles Davis, and Candy Dulfer among others. She has opened for top acts in entertainment including Mary Wilson of the Supremes, Ruben Studdard, and many more.

Her first collaborated single was released in March of 2024 and can be found on all streaming platforms.

The neo-soul beat of ‘Struggle’ is created by French producer M. Fasol. It features the leading vocals of international recording artist Dwayne Pugh, who wrote the lyrics.

Janette was the saxophonist and video producer for the music video.

Don’t miss this opportunity to listen to Janette G. perform live and learn about her passion for both art and music.

Also at the event will be Tayy the DJ, a dynamic and talented artist who is making waves with his infectious energy behind the controller. He crafts a unique sound that blends elements of soul, R&B, hip-hop, electronic, and pop; which has allowed him to headline events across the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.

This event is free to the public and refreshments will be served.
