The One Stop Recycle Drop in November 2024 was a huge success thanks to all of the wonderful recyclers and volunteers in our community.

Collections included:

50 pair of eyeglasses donated to the Lions Club

7,349 pounds of electronics to URT for proper disposal/recycle

25 gallons of batteries

1000 pounds of textiles for donation

8 tons of paper, cardboard, plastic to Waste Connections, Inc

150 gallons of medication for disposal by the Fairfield Police Dept

Thank you to all our volunteers from the HS Interact Club, the Rotary Club, FHS Class of 2025, Cpl. Markham, Officer Mills, Waste Connections and community members.

A HUGE thank you also to NRG Energy Limestone Plant for continuing to fund the event through their generous donations!

Monthly recycling continues to be held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 8:30-10:30 a.m. behind Fairfield Junior High.

Acceptable items for monthly recycle day: paper, cardboard, tin, aluminum cans, and plastic.
