Linda Lou Welch, 77, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center in Waco.
She was born in Teague on October 17, 1946, attended Teague schools and graduated with the class of 1965. Linda worked in Dallas several years and met her husband there on a blind date. The couple married on November 17, 1977, and made their home in Fairfield, sharing over forty-six years of marriage together. She enjoyed growing plants and had her own green house.
She is survived by her husband, Don Welch of Fairfield; her mother, Dorothy Cameron of Teague; two sisters, Patty Williams of Azle and Dorothy Ann Wilson of Oklahoma; one step-daughter, Cheryl Jones of Fairfield; one grandson, Bailey Jones of Fairfield; other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Welch was preceded in death by her grandparents, Raymond & Maggie Lee Butler.
There will be no public services.
