Closed on Sundays announced they will be accepting donations for North Carolina victims of Hurricane Helene on behalf of their loyal customers, who will be taking an 18-wheeler within the next two weeks.

Items needed include blankets, sleeping bags, sweatshirts/hoodies, socks, beanies/caps, gloves, diapers, warm baby clothes, baby wipes, coats/jackets, baby formula, all hygiene items, baby bottles, baby food, toys/stuffed animals for kids, can openers, flashlights, batteries, battery powered radios, shovels, paper plates, plasticware, contractor bags, tarps, rubber gloves, mops, buckets, extension cords, goggles, hand warmers, dog/cat food, cleaning supplies, disinfectant wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, insect repellant, multi tools, lanterns, leashes/collars, portable heaters, and anything else you think might be needed during a state of emergency.

Please be mindful if you are donating used clothing or blankets. The people receiving the donations have no way to wash clothing right now and we don’t want to put even more work on the volunteers to have to sort through dirty clothes to find the clean items that can actually be sent.

The target date for transporting donations to the affected area is Friday, November 15.
