The Freestone County Historical Museum is looking for help.
October 11th: Limestone Christian Academy with approx. 65 people- students and teachers, parents.
October 18th: Miles Family Tour of approx. 15-20 people.
October 23rd. Fairfield Christian Academy with approximate of 15-25 students, teachers and parents. Ideally for the Faith Academy Schools it is best to have 8-10 volunteers to manage.
Needed is one volunteer for each museum exhibit site (8 total) plus two extra volunteers, one extra for the Littlejohn House and one extra for the jail or the Bass Lobby.

The time slotted for these tours is 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noonish. Volunteers should arrive around 9:30AM

The community is invited to attend the Dedication Ceremony for the corrected 1881 Freestone County Jail Historical Marker on Saturday, October 5, 2024, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Admission is free. There will be an open house and a fall book sale as well.
