August is ‘Back to School’ month, which means it’s time to meet this year’s new High School athletes competing this Fall in Football, Volleyball and Cross Country; including the hard-working support teams of the Cheer Squads, Marching Band, and Coaching staff.
Meet the Lions Pep Rally will be held Sunday, August 11th beginning at 8:00 p.m. at Lions Stadium in Teague.
Meet the Eagles will be held on Tuesday, August 13th following the home volleyball game (JV plays at 5:00 p.m., Varsity at 6:00 p.m.) at the Johnson Activity Center in Fairfield. Bring your wallet for the Cake Auction benefiting the Eagle Club.
Bulldog athletes were introduced during Monday’s Back to School Bash held at Bulldog Gym in Wortham. Look for pictures of that event in the August 14th edition of The ‘Times.’
