Northbound entrance of IH 45 from FM 27 closed Beginning Monday in Fairfield

Weather permitting, effective July 15, 2024, the Northbound entrance to IH 45 from FM 27 will be closed.  The closure is expected to be opened on Friday, August 16, 2024. Portable message signs will be placed in advance advising of the closure. Motorists will need to utilize the IH 45 entrance south of West Commerce Street (US 84) for access to IH 45 Northbound or find an alternate route.

This work is part of the $36,901,732.19 IH 45 Frontage Road project that is contracted to A.L. Helmcamp, Inc. This entire project is expected to be completed in the Spring of 2027.
