Softball – The Lady Eagles beat Elkhart on Saturday after the game on Friday was rained out and then lost to Groesbeck on Tuesday. The Lady Eagles finished the first round of district play with a 3-4 record and are currently in 5th place. On Thursday night, the Lady Eagles played at Mexia and came away with a run-rule win. Next week they will play at Teague on Tuesday and at Buffalo on Friday in two pivotal games.
Baseball – On Tuesday, the Eagles fell to Groesbeck and lost a close one to Mexia on Thursday night. The Eagles will host Teague on Tuesday, which is Little League night, and then play at Buffalo on Friday.
Track – The track teams competed at Westwood on Thursday. The District track meet will be held in Fairfield on April 3rd and 4th.
Tennis – The team had the week off. They will play at Waco on Thursday, April 4th.
Golf – Competed at the District tournament. Congratulations to both the girls and the boys teams for earning 2nd place. They will advance to the Regional Tournament in Brenham. Allie Hughes is in first place individually on the girls side.
