The Jonathan Hardin chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution’s Good Citizens Committee awarded seniors from five area high schools located in Freestone and Limestone counties at their March meeting.
Students selected as DAR Good Citizens must have the following qualities to be considered for this award. Those qualities include:
–Dependability
truthfulness, honesty, punctuality, etc.
–Service
cooperation, helpfulness, responsibility, etc.
–Leadership
personality, self-control, initiative, etc.
–Patriotism
unselfish loyalty to American ideals
Earing this great award are (left to right): Madison Newhouse from Wortham High School, Emma Jo Smith from Fairfield High School, Ryder Bagley from Groesbeck High School, Peyton Allen from Mexia High School, and E’leyshia Roblow from Teague High School.
