The Cast and Crew of Palestine Community Theatre’s Spring Production of ‘Sister Act,’ sponsored by Joseph Wilkinson, Esquire, will be ready for you at the historic Texas Theatre in downtown Palestine, April 5th-7th and 12th-14th, 2024.
They’ve been singing and dancing their way to an amazing production since mid-January and can’t wait to take you back in time to the 1992 Touchstone Pictures Motion Picture hit film of the same name written by Joseph Howard.
Deloris Van Cartier, portrayed by Jean Warren, and the nuns of the convent in which she’s hiding will have you dancing in your seat, but beware the bad guys bringing mayhem. While Deloris and the girls revive the church and community, the attention garnered endangers the lot of them, and Deloris learns what family truly is. Antics ensue as Deloris and her newfound family run from the gang chasing her. Don’t miss your chance to see how things resolve.
Due to the adult situations portrayed in this production, PCT has rated this show PG-13.
Tickets, which are $17 for adults and $12 for students 18 and under, are available in advance at www.PCTBoxoffice.com or at the door before each performance.
There will be a complimentary reception for opening night, Friday, April 5, 2024, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Performances will begin Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
The theater is located at 213 W. Crawford in Palestine, Texas.
