The Jonathan Hardin Chapter, NSDAR would like to thank the community, the Fairfield VFW Post #5872, the Groesbeck American Legion Post #288, volunteers, generous sponsors, and area officials for coming together in unity and supporting those who have protected our freedom.

At Driver Cemetery (Teague), LaSalle Cemetery (Groesbeck), New Hope Cemetery (Jewett), and Salem Cemetery (Teague) specifically, 366 veterans’ wreaths were placed by family members, and community volunteers.

Perhaps you have a group that would like to participate with Wreaths Across America (WAA), registering a site location and honoring those veterans buried there. Our Chapter would like to encourage and assist other organizations in participating with WAA. WAA provides the tools and resources for you.

Wreath sponsorships can be made throughout the year.

Between Dec 16, 2023 and January 16, 2024, Wreaths Across America has launched a Matching Campaign. They will match every wreath sponsored through a sponsorship group such as Jonathan Hardin Chapter NSDAR.

It is a wonderful opportunity to meet 2024 goals. Think of it as a “Sponsor one—Get one”.

Next year’s National Wreaths Across America Day will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2024.
