The National Active and Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) Chapter 1191 held its monthly lunch meeting on Tuesday, 10 Oct 2023, at the Asian King Buffet in Waxahachie.
The guest speaker was Cassie Street, Chief Operating Officer for Reach Council Prevention Services, which provides substance abuse education and recovery support in schools and communities in Ellis and Johnson counties. The speaker has LMSW, LCDC and CPS certifications. Emphasis is on school and community evidence based programs with community coalitions for information sharing.
