Community Tours New Municipal Building

Folks got a first-hand look at Fairfield’s new Municipal Building — shared by the Police Department, Municipal Court, and City Hall — during last week’s National Night Out.

Taking a moment to visit with Fairfield Mayor Kenneth Hughes (at top) is Miss Freestone County – RaShay Covey (left) and Teen Miss Buffalo Stampede – Mikah Kesinger (right).

“We want to say thank you to everyone that came out last night,” said Fairfield Police Department.
Last week’s event was the first time since 2018 that they had observed National Night Out.

“We had an awesome turnout,” they said. “Next year will be even greater.”
