Carolyn Marie Grace Nichols, 73 of Fairfield, passed on August 10, 2023, with her family by her side.
Carolyn was born September 19, 1949, in Fairfield Texas.
She worked as a cashier at Rob’s Drive-In for 36 years before retiring in December of 2019. She was voted the best cashier by readers of Fairfield Recorder in 2012. She dedicated her life to God, family and work. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Streetman, Texas.
She is preceded in death by husband, Glen Nichols; parents Homer and Hazel Grace; stepson Lance Nichols; sisters, Wanda Moon and Jessie Mitchell and brother-in-law Larry Mitchell.
Carolyn is survived by son, William (Sonny) Earnest; daughter Lisa Earnest; stepson, Larry Nichols; stepdaughter, Laura Byrum; sister, Darlene and husband Robert Elias and brother-in-law, Milo Moon. Grandchildren, Tara Earnest, Chance Ramsey and Cheyenne Fleming. Numerous other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held August 26th at 11:00 at First Baptist Church in Streetman, TX.
