Fairfield ISD will have weapon detectors in place and in use for all sporting events at the Johnson Activity Center (JAC) and Eagle Stadium for the 2023-2024 school year. All spectators will be required to pass through the detectors before entrance into the JAC or stadium.
There will also be a clear bag policy in place for spectators. Any and all bags, stadium chairs, etc., will have to pass through the detectors. The picture below indicates the bag policy approved by the District Safety Committee.
Weapon detectors will also be used at the entrance of FHS for all students and visitors. High school students will be required to enter the building and pass through the detectors each day.
