17-year-old Ruben Villa Lee Dominguez was arrested on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 and charged with murder in the homicide investigation of 17-year-old Tercquan Johnson.
Dominguez was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force in Freestone County where he will later be extradited to the McLennan County Jail.
The Waco Police Department began searching earlier this month for a suspect involved in a murder investigation from May 2, 2023.
On Tuesday night, May 2nd at 8:41 p.m., officers were called to a shooting near the 1900 Block of JJ Flewellen Rd. in Waco, Texas. When officers arrived, they located one 17-year-old male with gunshot wounds, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Victim was later identified as 17-year-old Tercquan Johnson.
