Surrounded by Lemonade Day entrepreneurs, Fairfield Mayor Kenneth Hughes signed a proclamation earlier this month in honor of this year’s annual event.
On Saturday, May 6, 2023 kids from the community will set up their very own lemonade stands in downtown Fairfield, Texas.
Everyone is encourage to come out and purchase some refreshing drinks and treats, while suporting the business moguls of tomorrow!
Lemonade Day is a program for the youth of our community to experience the joy of entrepreneurship.
These young business owners have been learning about making business plans (and balancing a budget).
They are designing and building their own stands, practicing recipes and learning ways to promote and market their small businesses.
