Sharon Ann Schmaltz, 80, passed from this life on Monday, March 20, 2023, at her home on Richland Chambers Lake with her husband by her side. She was born in San Diego, CA on June 1, 1943, to Roy Reed and Mildred Weaver Reed. She married William (Bill) Leroy Schmaltz on April 11, 1986, and they made their home in Arlington before building a home on Richland Chambers and living there for the past 18 years.
Sharon is survived by her husband Bill Schmaltz. Her children Todd Taylor and Brett Taylor. Step – children Antoinette Berhorst, William Schmaltz and Kathleen Vlahovic. Grandchildren: Kirstin McNamara and Kyle Taylor. Great grandchildren Bryson McNamara, Sawyer McNamara, Jettson McNamara, Kyle Taylor and Tripp Taylor. Step grandchildren: Maria Sherrell and Kathleen Berhorst. Step great grandchildren: James, Benjamin and Patrick Shreel, Toni Vlahovic.
Visitation will be held Sunday, April 2nd from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00pm at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home, Fairfield. Graveside services will be held at 10:15 on Monday, April 3rd at Dallas / Fort Worth National Cemetery.
