“It was privilege to visit our State Capitol and be able to ask questions about important issues that affect our community,” said Brenda Pate, Executive Director of Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.
The group visited with State Senator Charles Schwertner and his representative in Austin on Thursday, March 23, 2023 to discuss issued important to the community, including Fairfield Lake State Park and Education issues.
Area youth joined the Fairfield contingent, serving on the floor of the Texas Senate as junior pages.
“We hope you will make plans to make the trip with us in 2025,” said Pate.
