Elsie Lee Welborn went to see our Lord on October 27, 2022 at her home in Fairfield, Texas. She was 84 years old. She was born to Albert David Ingram and Jesse Lee Ingram on January 30, 1938 in Eupora, Mississippi.
She moved to Houston at a very early where she met and married Raymon Lee Welborn at the age of 17. Together they loved to travel and explored nearly every US state. They spent many summers working in Yellowstone National Park, one of their favorite places. She loved to cook, read and being with her family and around people gave her joy.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymon Lee Welborn, parents, and brother David Ingram.
She is survived by her son Raymon Lee Welborn, III and his wife Teresa Welborn; daughter Terri Whittaker and her husband Craig Whittaker; daughter Kim Welborn; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at San Jacinto Memorial Park in Houston with Bro. Bubba Rutherford officiating.
