Sponsorships Still Available for ‘Partners in Pink for Healthcare’

 

New events have been added to the 2nd Annual Pinktober Events, hosted by Freestone Medical Center in October!

First, during the Family Fun Day and 5K Glow Run Event on October 29th, FMC will be partnering with the Freestone County Go Texan Scholarship foundation to put on a Cornhole Tournament!

Bags will fly at 4pm for that tournament! Entries are available via scoreholio!

Next, Adkins Veterinary Services will be putting on a Low-Cost Pet Vaccine Clinic for us from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.! Family health includes the health of your four-legged family members too!

Rabies only will be available for $20, Complete canine vaccinations will be $40, complete feline vaccinations will be $45 and Kennel Cough only will be $17.50.

All pets must be on a leash or in a carrier at the event.

Then, community Field Day events are being added, as well! David Brackens will assist with community games like Speed walking, Egg-n-spoon race, Three-leg race, Sack race, Sponge race, Hula hoop race, Pass the water and Head shoulder knee game.

There will be prizes for winners!

Theme continues to be “Partners in Pink for Healthcare,” as they continue to support the fight against breast cancer.

This is an opportunity for your organization to join in the fight against breast cancer, promote prevention and early intervention efforts, offer community resources and create and strengthen community partnerships.

Sponsorships are available for the Blush and Bashful levels:

–Blush – cash or in-kind donation worth $50-$499. Blush level sponsors can expect to have their logo included on staff t-shirts, event flyers and social media pieces.

–Bashful – cash donation of $500. Bashful level sponsors can expect to have their logo included on staff and event t-shirts, event flyers and social media pieces as well as individual social media shout-outs throughout September & October.

–October 15th – Freestone Medical Center Health Fair
9:00 a.m. to Noon – Health Fair
9:00 a.m. until supplies run out – Free Flu Shots and blood typing
9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. – Yoga with Sheila Raye of Adrenaline Fitness! (three 15-minute sessions)
9:00 a.m. to Noon – Bounce House and obstacle courses for kids, and our kids at heart!
11:00 a.m. – FMC Community Costume Contest!

–October 29th – Pinktober 5K Glow Run, Vendor event, Music and family fun day!
3:00 p.m. to dusk – FMC Family Fun Day with vendors (bounce houses, obstacle course, rock wall)
3:00 p.m. to dusk – Music by DJ Theresa Farris
3:00 p.m. – Family Field Day events with prizes!
3:00 to 5:30 p.m. – Low-Cost Pet Vaccine Clinic
4:00 p.m. – Community Zoomba with Natalie Clopton of Clo & Co!
