The April Veterans health care lunch will feature information on Parkinson’s disease. It will be held at the VVA/DAV Hall on Gardner Drive on Thursday, 21 April at noon.
The Hall is at 927 Gardner Drive, which is located behind Mattern Tire on SH 155 North.
Four Palestine health care providers have been sponsoring this series of monthly free lunches. They include Brookdale Senior Living, Heart to Heart Hospice, Encompass Health, and TruCare Living Center.
The Parkinson’s presentation will be presented by Deanna Adams, a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner.
The lunch is open for all area Veterans, Veteran’s families, and any individuals interested in Veterans health care issues.
