During the Freestone County Fair Association February’s meeting, fair committee chairpersons were named. Plans are underway for the 100-years of Traditions and Heritage celebration of the Freestone County Fair and Rodeo to be held June 13-18, 2022 at the W. L. Moody Reunion Fairgrounds in Fairfield.
The 2022 FCFA Committee Chairpersons are: Frank Bonner – Livestock; Todd Craig – Livestock Facilities; Vanessa Smith – Parade; Clint Minchew – Rodeo; Vanessa Smith – Entertainment; Brent Holmes – Commercial Exhibits; Brent Holmes – Food Vendors; Nicole Crawford – Home Economics; David Pickens – Advertisements; Kelly Tyus – History Book; Nadine Phillips – Celebration; Emily Goodson – Coronation; Clint Minchew and Collin Puckett – Livestock Sale; Erin Davis – Sale Ring Banners; Todd Craig and Collin Puckett – Reserve Parking; Todd Craig and Collin Puckett – Arena Parking; Clint Minchew – RV Parking; Kathy Jones – Rodeo Concessions; Byron Jones – Grounds Care; Dorothy Tippens – Restrooms; LaDonna Turner and Collin Puckett – Stick Horse and Mutton Bustin; Morse Keaton – Security.

Jennifer Cruce; Breeding and Market Sheep – David Pickens and Asst. Michael Grissett; Breeding and Market Rabbits – Ross Mathison; Poultry – Shawn Sifford; and Pet Show – Lena Erwin.
The 2022 FCFA Advisors are Clay Sherman, Fairfield ISD FFA and Erin Davis, Freestone County Extension Agent – 4H.
The Home Economics Superintendents will be named during the FCFA regular meeting of the Board of Directors on March 14th at 6 p.m., Roy Hill’s Conference Room 201.
