Trinity Star Arts Council has awarded over $25,000 in scholarships over the last few years to students of Freestone County who have met its qualifications. Those scholarships have been granted toward a very diverse array of potential careers:
–Visual arts—graphics, painting, drawing, jewelry craftsmanship, architecture, sculpture
–Literary arts –creative writing, literature, communications
–Theater arts—drama, musical performance, stage cosmetology, lighting and sound
–Music arts—vocal, instrumental, music education, dance, composition
–Medical arts—nursing, music therapy
The four 2022 TSAC scholarships of $1000 each are targeting those of you who excel in the arts and who are enrolled in programs leading to such a career. But you must apply by April 18. Contact TSAC online at trinitystarartscouncil.org or dmurden66@gmail.com for details.
TSAC scholarships are made possible by generous donations and memorials in the names of those who show dedicatiion to preserving and promoting the arts in the lives of others. The Council is a non-profit, non-discriminatory organization whose mission is to present and promote the arts in Freestone County through education and participation.
