Making it official, Freestone County Judge Linda Grant swears in Lisa Hendrix (left) as Justice of the Peace – Precinct No. 4 to take over the duties of the office vacated by former JP, Shirley Mays.
No stranger to the office, or its duties, JP Hendrix assisted as clerk before taking over the position.
The appointment will be in force until the next election cycle.
