We are half way into October, and this weekend may very well be one of the busiest!

Perhaps the biggest event — and, definitely the healthiest — will be the Partners in Pink Health Fair hosted by Freestone Medical Center in Fairfield, Texas.

This annual event offers FREE flu shots (first 100 customers), blood typing, health screenings, referrals, and information.

That’s not all!

This is a family-friendly event that features a fun obstacle course and bounce house for the kids.

Pets are welcome, as well, for the ‘Howls and Meows’ costume contest, hosted by Fairfield Chamber of Commerce.

The day ends at dusk with a classic screening of ‘Hocus Pocus.’

Here’s more:

9 AND 9:30 AM: Yoga with Shelia Raye from Adrenaline Fitness in the clinic parking lot

9 AM – 12 PM: Health Fair outside the clinic full of vendors & giveaways. FREE flu shots and blood typing while supplies last

9 AM – 12 PM: Stewdio 101 Coffee Truck and Mike Burns Shaved Ice will be onsite with delicious drinks and shaved ice for sale.

9 AM – 12 PM: Obstacle course and bounce house open for children

11 AM: Howls and Meows Pet Costume Contest hosted by Fairfield Chamber of Commerce

Dusk (7:30 PMish): Classic “Hocus Pocus” screened on the lawn. Bring chairs or blanket. Popcorn and Drinks included!

And, if that’s not enough, check out these upcoming events:
