The Angel of death came for Randall Lee Johnson on September 13, 2021 in the Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, Waco, Texas.
On April 27, 1969, Randall Lee Johnson was born to the parentage of Edward “Chief”, Sr. and Lee Earl Richard Johnson.
Randy, as he was affectionately called by family and friends, received his formative education through the Fairfield Independent School District where he was a proud Eagle on the Varsity Basketball Team from 1984 thru 1987.
Standing at a formidable 6’3”, he continued the family legacy and shared love for the game of basketball. Throughout all four years of high school, Randy was also an outstanding showman of Brahman cattle and an active participant in the Future Farmers of America organization.
After high school he went on to attend Hill College in Hillsboro, TX.
Randy Johnson served on Fairfield City Council since he was first elected in May, 2012.
Randy is survived by his wife, Karen, and four children.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 starting at 2 O’clock prior to the service.
Funeral Service was held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at The Johnson Activity Center at Fairfield High School, located at 615 Post Oak Road in Fairfield, Texas.
Funeral services were conducted by Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home of Teague, Texas.
