Jo Olive Watson Zickuhr, 79, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021 in Fairfield. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Capps Memorial Chapel with Pastors Spain and Bettye Trask officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Stewards Mill Cemetery.
Mrs. Zickuhr was born July 24, 1941 in Fairfield to parents Mildred Frances Chavers Watson and Edward Monroe Watson, Jr. She lived for about 20 years in Tyler but returned to her native Fairfield and Freestone County in 1991. In addition to her ranching interests in Freestone County she served three terms on the Fairfield City Council.
Left to cherish her memory is her son Justin Turner of Fairfield, three grandchildren, Brandi Holcomb and husband Jason of Tyler; Ashley Jones and husband Alex of Fairfield; Joseph Turner and wife Asilinn of Deltona, FL; two great-grandchildren, Aiden Jones and Clara Grace Turner.
