Logan Anders was selected earlier in the year to become a member of the Association of Texas Small School Bands All-State Band. More than 10,000 high school band students from across Texas auditioned in twenty-two different regions for a place in their respective all-region bands. The top chairs in each region advanced to one of the five area auditions across the state and only 306 of the 2,398 students at Area were selected for All-State honors.
Logan Anders, a 2021 graduate of Fairfield High School and member of the Fairfield High School Band, was selected as a member of this band. He was chosen for this honor in competitive auditions held this year across the state at region and area levels. Logan plays the Euphonium and was under the direction of Bill Large, Russell Holland, and Gust Witt. Logan is a multiple year ATSSB Region Band and Area Band member. This was his first year to perform as a member of the ATSSB All-State Band. The All-State Band met for rehearsals in Melissa, Texas in June where they presented a concert at the Melissa Performance Hall.
Logan is the son of Dawn and Jason Anders. Logan will be attending Navarro College in the fall and will be a member of The Sound of Navarro College Band.
